In order to help you create an account at NovelNest and use our Platform, we need to collect and process some personal information. "Personal Information" is any information that can identify you. Deliver age-appropriate content to you;

2.2 Our Platform is designed to help you share information with the NovelNest community. Any personal information you voluntarily choose to include in publicly accessible spaces on the Platform will be available to anyone who has access to that content (including other NovelNest users), such as your username, name, description you create and your location, as well as messages you post on your profile, in our forums or to other users, as well as lists you create, people you follow, stories you write and many other information generated by your use of the Platform.
2.3 Unless we have your consent, we will not rent or sell your personally identifiable information to other companies or individuals, except in the following very limited circumstances:
To comply with applicable law (including the investigation of any crime), regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request;
To enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other policies, including investigation of potential violations;
To protect the rights, property or safety of NovelNest employees and users or the public.
3. Information Security
We continually implement and update physical, organizational, contractual and technical security measures to protect your personal information from loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. Only those employees who have a business "need to know" or whose duties reasonably require such information are granted access to your personal information. On all NovelNest platforms, we support encryption of all transmissions to protect personal information submitted on our platforms.
4. Deleting Your Information
You can delete your account within the application or request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at: [email protected]. We will evaluate such requests on a case-by-case basis. We may retain some of your data for as long as reasonably necessary to safeguard our legitimate business interests, including fraud detection and prevention, and to comply with our legal obligations, including tax, legal reporting and auditing obligations. Sometimes, your request can only be fulfilled by closing your account. You have the right to delete your account, and you should understand that once you delete your account, you will lose the right to access or use all or part of NovelNest.
5. Non-Personal Information
5.1 NovelNest uses cookies, tracking pixels and similar technologies on our platforms to collect information that does not personally identify you ("Non-Personal Information"), which helps us provide our services to you and understand how our services are used. We also use these technologies to help deliver promotional information and advertisements for related NovelFlow products and services.
5.2 We may disclose and share non-personal information with various third parties, such as publishers or advertisers. For example, we may share information with advertisers or publicly display information about general usage trends of our platform.
6. Third-party advertisers, links to other platforms
6.1 NovelFlow allows other companies, called third-party ad servers or browser networks, to serve ads within the NovelNest platform. These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology to send ads and links that appear on NovelNest directly to you. They automatically receive your IP address when an ad is served. They may also use other technologies, such as cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons, to measure the effectiveness of their ads and personalize the ad content you see. These third-party partners will collect, use, store, share, or otherwise process your information solely for the purpose of providing you with personalized ads. We neither have access to, nor does this Privacy Policy govern the use of tracking technologies that may be placed on devices you use to access services provided by such unaffiliated third parties. If you do not agree to the privacy policies of such third-party partners or do not wish for them to process your personal information, please do not agree to or accept this Privacy Policy. In addition to the above, we provide advertisers and/or advertising agencies with reports on the types of people who see their ads and how effective their ads are. In order to provide you with personalized ads, we also share certain information with these third parties, such as your IP, GAID, device version, country code, and network type. We also work with third-party partners who help us provide and improve the App and our Services. We do not sell any of your information to anyone. We also impose strict restrictions on how our partners can use and disclose the information we provide.
6.2 NovelNest does not provide any personally identifiable information to these third-party ad servers or ad networks without your consent, except as part of a specific program or feature from which you can opt-in or opt-out.
6.3 You should consult the respective privacy policies of these third-party ad servers or ad networks for more information about their practices and for instructions on how to opt-out of certain practices. NovelNest's privacy policy does not apply to such other advertisers or platforms, and we cannot control their activities. NovelNest will maintain and process any data obtained by third-party ad servers and subsequently shared with NovelNest in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
7. Policy Governing Use: Changes to Privacy Policy NovelNest reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice to you, and any changes will be effective immediately upon posting, so please review this Privacy Policy regularly.
8. Emails By sending NovelFlow By providing your email address, you consent to send us service-related notices, including any notices required by law, in lieu of communication by mail.
9. In-App Purchases If you are a paying customer, we may collect your payment information. This information is necessary to complete commercial transactions on our platform. We use this information to enable and complete your transactions. If you choose to use the services of any third party to complete and pay for your order, you will provide your credit card number directly to the third party. Please review the terms and notices of the relevant app store regarding the processing of such data. In order for us to credit your account with the correct value, we keep a record of the purchases you make, when you make them, and the amount spent.
